"See all this accomplishment. See this instance of ethnic cleansing," a fighter cheers.

The men are rejoicing over a massacre that relief organizations believe claimed the lives of over thousands of people in the Sudanese urban center of el-Fasher in recent weeks.

A Community Isolated from the World

Following their control of the community under blockade for almost an extended period, from late summer the RSF proceeded to consolidate its control and restrict the leftover inhabitants.

Orbital photography reveal that forces started to build a massive earth barrier - a raised earthen wall - encircling the perimeter of al-Fashir, blocking access routes and preventing relief supplies.

Disturbing Video Reveals Defenseless Civilians Executed

By sunrise on 26 October the paramilitary force defeated the remaining army defenses and took control of the main headquarters in the city, the main facility of the Army Division, as the government forces retreated.
